Building a Coaching Culture for Change Management published in October 2018 is the latest edition of ICF and HCI’s signature research on coaching in organisations. The research report is based on more than 400 survey responses from managers, leaders, internal coach practitioners & individual contributors. It reveals that coaching is one of the most helpful ways to develop change management capabilities inside an organisation and to achieve the goals for those change management initiatives.

This is the most ambitious, extensive and expansive industry research capturing insights from 53,300 coach practitioners and 10,900 managers and leaders using coaching skills.
In 2016 as Lead Coach for Electricity North West, Sara Barrie led the submission that won the UK PRISM award for coaching excellence in their business transformation programme. The coaching-centred programme has seen employee engagement scores double and leadership scores increase by 74 per cent.
Building a Coaching Culture is a signature piece of research conducted globally in late 2014 in partnership between ICF and the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in order to examine the ways in which companies and leaders establish and support a coaching culture and to further identify the motivation, application and outcomes of coaching practices today.
